Quarterbacks
The Falcons have a 3 man battle for the starting QB spot and Coach Brandon still doesn't know who the starter will be. Also, Coach comments on QB recruit Nate Brown.
Receivers
Corey Partridge is the only proven performer heading into 2007, but with Freddie Barnes now at a wide out spot, the Falcons hope for better things from the ball catching corps this season.
Offensive Line
The O-Line is anchored by All-MAC Center Kory Lichtensteiger. Kory was unable to practice this spring due to an injury and that allowed some guys to play a different position and should provide depth up front.
Running Backs
Eric Ransom has come in and vaulted himself to the top of the depth chart but Coach Brandon has three horses to ride in the BG backfield.
Fullbacks and Tight Ends
Coach Brandon plans on using these positions more in 2007.
Defensive Line
BGSU has developed depth at the D-Line spot and features players who can get to the QB.
Linebackers
This group is speed-based but has a toughness about them to go along with playmaking ability.
Defensive Backs and Special Teams
All four starters return in the secondary but none of them is sitting on his laurels, while the kicking game shows some promise.
Coaches
Coach Brandon talks about having to bring in 5 first year assistant coaches.
