HILLSDALE, Mich. - The Falcons had a very successful two-day showing at the Hillsdale College "Gina" Relays this past Friday and Saturday.
The Falcons came away with a win from Jessica White in the 100-meters, running it in a time of 12.00 seconds. Shantell Lewis also ran the dash in a personal best time of 12.50 finishing twelfth.
Another highlight of the day came from Lauren Bryant who finished second in the discus. He threw a career-best 154-10, over a seven-foot best. Liz Honegger squeaked out with an eighth place finish, throwing 142-00.
Jamie Roflow finished seventh in the 1,500-meters in a time of 4:41.69. Kim Settle ran a personal-best time of 4:43.24 in the same event. Danielle Thornton ran the 1,500 in a best time of 5:04.61. Angie Raizis completed it in a time of 5:05.41.
Nicole Standback finished second in the hurdles in a season-best time of 14.30 seconds.
The 4x800-meter relay team of Kim Settle, Jamie Roflow, Danielle Thornton and Yemoja Marotta finished second in a time of 9:16.78.
The 4x100-meter relay team of Standback, White, Lewis and Ashley Spates finished fourth and ran it in a time of 47.64.
Amanda Sefcik finished third in the long jump, going 18-11.75.
Andi Bunko finished fourth in the javelin going 122-08 while Kylie Korsnack finished eighth, throwing 111-10.
TaKarra Dunning finished third in the shot, throwing 48-02.75. Paris Bussey just missed out on a top-eight performance, finishing ninth, throwing 43-05.25.
The Falcons travel to the Toledo Invitational next Friday.
