Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University men's basketball coach Louis Orr has announced the signing of Cameron Madlock, a 6-8, 200-lb., forward from Whitefish Bay (Wi.) Dominican High School, to a national letter of intent to play basketball for the Falcons and attend BGSU next season. He is the first player signed by Orr at BGSU. The Falcons still will have one remaining scholarship for next season.
"Cameron is an energy guy who is skilled, can block shots and has a high basketball IQ," Orr said. "He is a very mobile four-man, can run the floor and makes us more athletic. He comes from a great program and is a quality individual who has our staff very excited."
Madlock averaged 14 points, eight rebounds, and two blocks for a team which finished 21-4 and advanced to the sectional finals.
"Cameron comes from a great program and that is very important to us," added Orr.
Madlock's father, Percy Eddie, played for Kansas State from 1985-87.
