Unice Selected By Chicago in NHL Draft

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Josh Unice, a goaltender who will begin his career for the Bowling Green State Universitry hockey program this fall, was selected in the third round of the National Hockey League Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday afternoon. Unice, a Toledo, Ohio, native was taken 86th overall.
Unice was the sixth highest CCHA player taken, as 24 members of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association were selected in the NHL Draft.
Unice was also just one of two goalies from the CCHA to get snagged up with an NHL team. Brad Phillips of Notre Dame was taken 182nd overall at the other netminder.
The incoming freshman is the 65th Falcon to be selected in the NHL draft.
