Softball to Hold Tryouts Aug. 27

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University softball team will hold tryouts for students interested in being a member of the squad for the 2007-08 academic year. The tryouts are set for Monday, Aug. 27, at 2:00 p.m. at the BGSU Softball Field.

To be eligible for tryouts, students must be currently enrolled at BGSU, and must sign a waiver prior to the tryouts. Students under the age of 18 must have the waiver signed by their parents.

Interested students also should show up to the tryout ready to play (appropriate attire and equipment). Students also are asked to contact the softball office via phone (419-372-7159) or e-mail (ssalsbu@bgsu.edu) to obtain a waiver, or to let the staff know they will be attending the tryout.

The BGSU Softball Field is located on Stadium Drive, northwest of Doyt Perry Stadium.
