Bowling Green State University senior Kory Lichtensteiger has one more game to play, representing the Falcons, as the four-year starter has been selected as a member of the south squad in the Senior Bowl. Lichtensteiger is just one of 102 players participating in the contest, which is held at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, in Mobile, Ala.
Lichtensteiger is also the lone Mid-American Conference representative on either squad. You can catch the former captain on the NFL Network on Jan. 26. Opening kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m.
This will be the third trip to Ladd-Peebles Stadium for the Van Wert, Ohio native. The four-time All-MAC performer was a member of the Falcons for the 2004 and 2007 GMAC Bowl, also played at Ladd Peebles.
This year alone, Lichtensteiger was named first-team All-MAC, was a finalist for the Rimington Trophy, given to the nation's top center, and was a member of the Lombardi Watch List. He started all 13 games this season, and started 48 games for his career, matching the school record.
