BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - A few notes from Miami University's 27-20 win over the Bowling Green State University football team Saturday afternoon (Oct. 18) ...
* Jimmy Scheidler caught his team-leading sixth touchdown pass of the season ... Schiedler's catch, a four-yard reception from Tyler Sheehan early in the third quarter, was his 11th total grab of the year.
* Anthony Turner led the Falcons in both rushing and receiving, with 129 total yards ... Turner had seven receptions for 88 yards, posting game-high totals in both categories, and he ran for 41 yards on 12 carries.
* Corey Partridge had six receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown ... he caught a 29-yard scoring pass from Sheehan late in the second quarter ... Partridge now has four TD catches this season and 10 in his career.
* Miami now leads the series with Bowling Green, 41-19-5 ... MU is the only MAC school that has an all-time series advantage over the Falcons.
* Partridge moved up two spots into sixth place on the BGSU career receptions list ... with his six catches vs. the RedHawks, he now has 161 in his career ... he passed Steve Sanders (156 catches from 2002-05) and Reggie Thornton (158 from 1986-89) in Saturday's game.
* Turner moved up a pair of notches on the BG career list for rushing yards ... he passed Godfrey Lewis (1,431 yards from 1998-2002) and Phil Polak (1,435 from 1971-73), and now is 17th in Falcon history.
* Partridge had a 73-yard punt return in the game, taking the ball to the Miami 11 to set up the Scheidler TD ... the 73-yard PR was not the longest of Partridge's career, as he had a 79-yard return in a 2005 game vs. Temple.
* Diyral Briggs had his team-leading sixth sack of the season in Saturday's game.
