BGSU Kicks Off Cincinnati Hosted All-Ohio Championships

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The All-Ohio Championships kicked off today as the University played host to some of Ohio's best track and field teams. The BGSU women's track and field team competed in four events on the day and captured a total of six team points.
Some top performers from today's events:
Whitney Hartman continued her successful outdoor season as she placed third in the hammer throw with her toss of 183-02. The toss falls just short of her career best throw of 183-04 and was also the fourth longest in school history.
Lauren Bryant added a ninth place finish in the hammer throw with her toss of 166-03 which was just under two feet from a score in the event.
Kylie Korsnack had a throw of 110-10.00 feet in the javelin throw which placed her tenth overall. Korsnack went on to place 13th in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 11:50.92.
Megan Kelsey placed 15th in the 10,000 meter run with a time of 41:12.29.
