LOS ANGELES - Throughout the summer former Women's Hoops Falcon Whitney Taylor will be checking in with www.bgsufalcons.com relaying her experiences from Los Angeles, Calif.
Despite carrying the title of a self-proclaimed `surfer-chick' Taylor will be doing more than just hitting up the West Coast waves - the Visual Communications Technology major, and reigning BGSU Female Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year, will be interning at E! Entertainment Television this summer.

Read on as her tale begins ...
On Friday (May 16) I flew into LAX Airport and made is safely to my apartment in Los Angeles, Calif. I'm staying with the four other BGSU students who are also E! interns in an apartment. One of my roommates (Shane Lewis) was one of the Freddie Falcons this year and cheered my team and I on throughout this past season!
When I arrived my roommates had just returned from the Jay Leno Show. We'll frequently be attending shows throughout the summer because our apartment is right near Hollywood and Universal Studios.
After getting settled in, Saturday we drove to Venice Beach and began the California experience. I jumped right into the waves and hung out with some local surfers on my surfboard near the pier; caught a few nice waves and had a fun day at the beach. Later that night we walked around City Walk at Universal Studios and ate dinner at Hard Rock.
We begin our intern orientation this morning (Monday, May 19) at E! Entertainment Television. I will be working in Post Production for E! in the Red Carpet and Events Department. I look forward to meeting the staff and networking throughout the summer!
More coming soon...
GO FALCONS!
