(BGSUFalcons.com) - Bowling Green State University sophomore forward Jacob Cepis, a 31-point scorer as a freshman during the 2007-08 season, was featured on InsideCollegeHockey.com on Thursday as part of its' "A to Z 2008-09 Preview".
Cepis, a Parma, Ohio native, is one of 12 returning forwards on the 2008-09 Falcon squad and the team's leading returning scorer for a group that will return 205 points from last season (72 percent of the team's total points). The 5-foot-8-inch forward compiled 15 goals and 16 assists last season, helping the Falcons to 18 wins and their first trip to the second round of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association playoffs since 2001.
For his efforts, Cepis was named to the CCHA's All-Rookie Team, becoming the first Falcon forward to earn the honor since Adam Edinger was selected to the team in 1997.
