The team's 2008 regular-season opener is just over a week away, as the Falcons will head to the Queen City to face the University of Cincinnati on Friday, Aug. 22.
Richards and assistant coaches Scott Gloden and Tiffany Hansen have six seniors, seven juniors, five sophomores (including one redshirt soph) and 10 freshmen on the 28-player roster.
Seniors Brianne Eisenhard and Susan Hunter are the captains of the 2008 Falcons, who will open the home portion of the schedule on Sunday, Aug. 31, with a 1:00 p.m. match vs. Michigan State University at Cochrane Field.
Recently, the team had a photo session, trying on their new uniforms for the first time, and having pictures taken for use in the media guide and on this very web site.
