Single-game tickets for the upcoming season of BGSU Falcon Football are NOW ON SALE (as of 9 a.m. ET on Monday, August 4, 2008). Following a season-opening road contest at Pittsburgh on Saturday, August 30th, the Falcons will return home to open their five game 2008 home slate when they host the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Saturday, September 6. The ESPNU national television broadcast is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff at Doyt Perry Stadium on the BGSU campus. It marks the second consecutive season the Falcons and Golden Gophers will do battle, and the first time ever that a Big Ten opponent has braved The Doyt. The remainder of BGSU's home schedule includes conference showdowns with the likes of Eastern Michigan on October 4 (Homecoming), Miami on October 18 (Family Weekend), Kent State on November 1 (Hall of Fame/Varsity BG Weekend) and Buffalo on November 21 (Senior Recognition).

Now more than ever it pays for fans to purchase BGSU Football tickets in advance. In addition to season tickets that start at ONLY $65, Falcon Football fans who purchase single-game tickets in advance will save $3 per ticket across the board on walk-up prices. The same advance vs. walk-up ticket savings will apply across the board with 2008-09 BGSU Hockey, Men's Basketball and Women's Basketball.
As always, tickets can be purchased online via BGSUFALCONS.COM (see link below), over the phone at 877-BGSU TICKET, and in-person at the BGSU Athletic Ticket Office (Memorial Hall on the BGSU Campus) Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
