Luther Cracks Into Top 25 In Attack Percentage

Bowling Green, Ohio – Bowling Green senior middle Shari Luther has broken into the NCAA's top 25 in attack percentage this week. Luther leads the Mid-American Conference and ranks 25th in the country with a .375 hitting percentage.
Luther has twice been named MAC Player of the Week, receiving the award after leading the team to a 4-0 record at the Duquesne/Robert Morris Invitational and then earning the award again after guiding the team to a win over Ball State.
On the season, Luther also leads the Falcons with 2.79 kills per set and 0.84 blocks per set. Her .375 attack percentage is on pace for the second-best ranking in program history and her .314 career attack percentage is third-best in program history. Three times this year she has posted 17 kills in a match and has hit .500 or better in a match three times.
