BGSU Athletics Releases Football Ticket Information for 2009 Season

BOWLING GREEN, OH – On the heels of last week’s announcement of the new “Doyt Dollars” incentive for season ticket holders, BGSU Athletics today released complete pricing and timeline information for the upcoming 2009 season of Falcon Football.
Set to kick-off the season at home on Thursday, September 3, the Falcons will play host to six games at Doyt Perry Stadium in 2009. Their complete schedule is expected to be released by the Mid-American Conference Office in the coming weeks. Single-game ticket prices will remain at the same levels as the 2008 season across the board, with special rates for groups of 20 or more seeing a reduction from a year ago. Season ticket prices range from $78-$108. with a Falcon Flex Pack option also available for $104.

The 2009 season will mark the beginning of the Dave Clawson era at Bowling Green. Clawson was announced as the 17th head coach in the history of the program on December 12, 2008.
New season ticket orders may be placed now by calling 877-BGSU TICKET or stopping by the BGSU Athletic Ticket Office in the main lobby of Anderson Arena/Memorial Hall (M-F, 9am-5pm). The season ticket renewal process will begin on April 6 and proceed as detailed in the timeline below. New renewal options for season ticket holders include online renewal and a two-installment payment plan*. Season ticket holders looking to use the payment plan option must initiate their renewal prior to the June 1 early renewal deadline, and online renewals will be available through the final renewal/seat release deadline of July 20.

In an effort to thank fans for their continued support of Falcon Football, BGSU Athletics announced last Friday it will be giving “Doyt Dollars” to season ticket holders for the upcoming 2009 season. Coming in the form of a pre-loaded, standard wallet-size card, the “Doyt Dollars” will serve as in-stadium currency, and be redeemable for ticket, concessions and/or merchandise purchases at BGSU’s football home, Doyt Perry Stadium.
“Doyt Dollars” will be distributed to season ticket holders, Falcon Flex Pack holders, and single-game ticket purchasers as follows:
SEASON TICKET HOLDERS
- $20 in “Doyt Dollars” for every account with two or more tickets*
- $10 in “Doyt Dollars” for every account with one ticket*
FALCON FLEX PACK HOLDERS
- $20 in “Doyt Dollars” for every account with two or more packs*
- $10 in “Doyt Dollars” for every account with one pack*
SINGLE-GAME TICKET PURCHASERS
- $20 in “Doyt Dollars” for every “leader” of a group outing
- $10 in “Doyt Dollars” for every single-game ticket purchase of $100 or more (either in advance or walk-up day of game)
*Season ticket and flex pack renewals made prior to the early deadline of June 1, 2009 and all online renewals will receive an additional $10 in bonus “Doyt Dollars”.
