BGSU Athletics has announced a special 2 FOR 1 ticket offer* for this weekend's BG-Ohio men's basketball game as part of Faculty/Staff & Fan Appreciation Day. Tipoff is scheduled for 2:00pm this Sunday, March 8 at Anderson Arena. It's also Senior Day, as the Falcons wrap-up their 2008-09 regular season schedule at home.
The 2 FOR 1 ticket offer is available both in advance and walk-up on game day. Fans can take advantage of the offer by purchasing tickets online at BGSUFALCONS.COM (beginning at 9:00am ET on Tuesday, March 3), in-person at the BGSU Athletic Ticket Office and over the phone by calling 877-BGSU TICKET. All online and phone orders will be left for pick-up at Will Call on game day beginning at 1:00pm (Photo I.D. required).
The BGSU men's basketball team (17-11 Overall, 10-4 MAC) currently sits in first place in the MAC East Division with two games to play. Though the Falcons can clinch at least a share of the 2009 MAC regular season championship and the #1 seed in the upcoming 2009 MAC Tournament with a win at Miami on Thursday (combined with a Kent State win over Buffalo that same night), Sunday's game could have MAC title and tournament seeding implications.
