Jennifer Roos Named a Finalist for BasketballScoop 2009 Coach of the Year

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (BGSUFalcons.com) - Bowling Green State University women's basketball associate head coach Jennifer Roos has been named a finalist for BasketballScoop.com's Coach-of-the-Year awards. Roos is among a list of 10 finalists.
The BasketballScoop.com website announced the list of 20 semifinalists on March 30. The semifinalists were nominated by at least one of their peers, and the finalists were the 10 leading vote-getters in the site's online voting.
These 10 coaches will now be evaluated by BasketballScoop's panel of coaches who will select the five winners. Beginning on Wednesday (April 22), the BasketballScoop.com site will profile each of the Finalists, one per day.
The list, from BasketballScoop.com and ONS Performance, focuses on the 'rising stars' of the college basketball coaching profession.
The winners will be announced beginning on May 4.
