
Guy Finishes 10th in the All-Around at Regionals

NCAA Central Region Championships All-Around Results in PDF Format
COLUMBUS, Ohio - Junior Breanne Guy made her second straight appearance representing the Bowling Green State University gymnastics team at the NCAA Central Region Championships finishing strong with a 38.825 and a 10th place finish in the all-around, just shy of qualifying for the NCAA National Championships. She not only finished in the top 10 of the 18 all-around competitors but posted the second best finish of any gymnast representing the Mid-American Conference.
Guy finished higher in every event at the Central Region Championships this year compared to at the 2008 Regionals. She improved on her 16th place finish and all-around score of 38.175 at Regionals last season along with an improvement on her finishes in each individual event.
Guy landed a 9.825 on vault tying for an 18th place finish three places higher than last year. She recorded the second best score of any MAC gymnast on vault only .025 points behind Eastern Michigan's Erin Grigg.
Guy tumbled her way to a 9.800, tying for a 17th place finish a huge improvement from last season's 35th place finish at Regionals. Once again she finished in the top three of all MAC competitors.
On the balance beam Guy posted a 9.625, finishing 30th still improving on her 41st place finish from last year. On the uneven bars she swung her way to a 9.575 and a 34th place finish, once again ahead of her finish at the 2008 Regionals.
