Friday's action at Amherst Audubon Field has been canceled due to poor field conditions.
Falcons/Bulls Postponed Until Saturday

The rest of the season hangs in the balance of Saturday's doubleheader with Buffalo after Friday action is canceled.
Friday's twinbill action has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions and weather in Buffalo, forcing the remainder of the Falcons' season to be played on Saturday.
The Falcons will lose one of the three weekend games due to time constraints but have agreed to schedule another doubleheader against UB on Saturday. The Falcons and Bulls will begin the set at 1 p.m. from Amherst Audubon Field (Buffalo, N.Y.) with game two beginning shortly after the conclussion of game one.
Because of this change, the Falcons may earn entry into the 2011 Mid-American Conference tournament before the first pitch is thrown on Saturday. BGSU entered the weekend with a one-and-a-half game lead over Ohio University (two in the loss column) for the eighth and final spot in the tournament.
The team's magic number to clinch the tournament spot was two entering Friday -- any combination of two BGSU wins or Ohio losses puts the Falcons in the field of eight. Ohio is hosting Miami for three games this weekend.
On Friday, Ohio and Miami split a doubleheader. This reduces BGSU's magic number to one. Saturday's scenarios are very simple. To clinch a tournament berth, the Falcons must win ONE of the two games at Buffalo OR Ohio must lose to Miami.
The Falcons can still also earn the seventh seed in the tournament, which would allow them to miss regular-season champion Kent State in the first round.
Bowling Green currently trails Western Michigan by one game in the standings for the seventh seed, thanks to the Broncos' split of the first two games of their weekend series with Northern Illinois. To move up, the Falcons must sweep tomorrow's doubleheader while WMU must lose to the Huskies.
