After scoring a run in the first two at-bats, the first inning featured a two-run home run from Auburn senior Elizabeth Eisterhold, giving the Tigers a 3-0 early edge. The Tigers would add six runs on five hits in the second inning before the Falcons were able to get on the board.
After senior Melissa West reached on a fielding error, Fulk sent a two-run home run into the seats to cut the Auburn lead to 9-2. The home run marked Fulk's first of the season, and ninth of the career.
The Tigers would add one more on the board before the end of the contest, giving Auburn the 10-2 victory.
