Falcons Take On Michigan In Final Game Before MAC Play

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio. -- The Bowling Green State University softball team takes on the University of Michigan Wednesday in the final game before the opening of MAC play. The Falcons are 15-9 overall, marking their best start since 2007 (18-6). Bowling Green's victory total also marks the first time since 2008 that the Falcons have earned at least 15 wins in a season. Miami (Ohio) is the only team in the MAC's Eastern Conference with more wins (17) overall than Bowling Green, while the Falcons' .625 winning percentage ranks third in the MAC overall.
- Sophomore Katie Yoho ranks second in the MAC with a .753 slugging percentage.
- Yoho (23) and junior Andrea Arney (22) rank second and third, respectively, in the MAC in RBI.
- Junior Hannah Fulk (22) ranks third in the MAC in runs scored, while her 18 walks lead the conference.
- Yoho's home run total (7) is tied for the league lead.
- Bowling Green has scored a total of 98 runs this season, while allowing just 68 runs against. The Falcons are undefeated this year when holding their opponent to two runs or less
