Volleyball Team To Hold Scrimmage, Clinic, Meet And Greet Aug. 18

Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University volleyball team, under first-year head coach Danijela Tomic, will hold a Brown and Orange scrimmage on Aug. 18, which will include a clinic for students of all ages and an opportunity for fans to meet the team. All events will be free and open to the public.
The Brown and Orange scrimmage will take place at 2 p.m. and will be followed by a meet and greet opportunity. As well, students of all ages will be invited to take part in a free volleyball clinic following the match.
Coming off of a 19-12 season, the BGSU volleyball team returns all but one starter. Tomic takes over the program after long-time coach Denise Van De Walle announced her retirement following the 2011 season. Tomic boasts a career record of 158-61 in seven years as the head coach at Florida International.
