Falcons Finish Fourth at Angola Shootout

Final Results
The Bowling Green State University women's golf team finished fourth at the Angola Shootout with a final score of 313. The event, which was scheduled for 36 holes, was shortened due to snowy conditions in Angola, Ind.
Ball State, the host of the event, won the tournament with a 309. Other teams that finished ahead of BGSU were Toledo (309) and Cleveland State (311). Rounding out the field were Akron (314), Western Michigan (322) and Ohio (328).
Patricia Holt finished tied for fourth among the 51-player field with a 76 (37-39). Senior Amy Ruthenberg was one shot behind her teammate, finishing tied for seventh with a 77 (38-39).
The rest of the Falcon competitors were Bailey Arnold (79, T-16th), Lily Bartell (81, T-25th), Shelby Wilson (86, T-45th), Kelsey Benson (83, T-34th) and Lauren Diehl (95, 51st). Benson and Diehl's scores were not eligible for the Falcons' team score.
This concludes the Falcons' regular season competition. The Orange and Brown's next tournament will be the MAC Championships in Nashport, Ohio on April 26-28.
