The Bowling Green State University baseball program has announced that the 2013 Alumni Golf Outing will take place on Saturday, October 12. The outing will be held at Riverby Hills Golf Club and will feature 36 foursomes. The 2nd annual event will be used as a fundraiser for the defending Mid-American Conference Tournament champions. The Falcon baseball team is coming off a season which saw them reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 14 seasons. Qualifying for the MAC Tournament with a walk-off win on the final day of the regular season, the Falcons would go on to win the MAC Tournament, 7-0 in the championship game against Ball State. The Orange and Brown were selected for the Louisville Regional of the NCAA Tournament, where they faced Louisville and Oklahoma State.
