BGSU meets Cardinals in MAC Tournament's semifinal round
The game is scheduled to be televised by Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, with Mike Cairns and Jacki Windon on the call. The BGSU-BSU contest will be aired by BCSN in the Toledo area, and also can be viewed via ESPN3.com, ESPN Full Court and/or MAC-Sports.com.

Ball State (17-15), the number-five seed, has already played three games in the MAC Tournament, and Friday's game will be the Cardinals' fifth in seven days. . The Cardinals downed #12 seed Kent State, 73-38, in first-round action in Muncie on Monday night (March 10). BSU then topped number-nine seed Northern Illinois, 61-47, in Wednesday's (March 12) second round, before beating fourth-seeded Buffalo, 74-60, on Thursday (March 13) afternoon.
BGSU enters Friday's game riding a 13-game winning streak, while Ball State has won six-straight games since an overtime loss to Central Michigan on Feb. 27.
The Falcons lead Ball State, 44-14, in the all-time series between the teams, and BGSU has captured five consecutive meetings. In the teams' lone regular-season meeting this season, the Falcons shot 52 percent from the field and 88% from the free-throw line in the second half to rally from a halftime deficit for a 72-61 win in Muncie (Jan. 15).
Sophomore Miriam Justinger scored a career-high 18 points to lead three double-digit scorers for the Falcons in that win. Seniors Alexis Rogers and Jillian Halfhill had 15 and 13 points, respectively. For the Cardinals, Nathalie Fontaine scored 20 points, while Brittany Carter added 15.
BGSU has a 5-1 record in MAC Tournament meetings with BSU over the years, although the teams have split their two prior league tourney matchups at Gund/Quicken Loans Arena.
Friday's winner advances to the MAC Tournament championship game. The second semifinal will see number-two seed Central Michigan face third-seeded Akron, with the two semifinal-round survivors meeting on Saturday afternoon (March 15), in a 1:00 p.m. start at The Q.
