September 26, 2014 | Volleyball
Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University Volleyball team will be holding its annual Dollar Day when the Falcons host Miami in a key Mid-American Conference East Division match-up Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Stroh Center. Tickets can be purchased for just $1 from Monday through Wednesday and select concession items will be just $1 at the contest.
Discounted tickets must be purchased between Monday and Wednesday either online at BGSUFalcons.com/tickets (or by CLICKING HERE), over the phone at 877-BGSU TICKET or in person at the BGSU Ticket Office located in the Stroh Center. The BGSU Ticket Office is open 9 am until 5 pm each weekday.
"The Stroh Center has always been a difficult place for opposing teams to play," BGSU head coach Danijela Tomic said. "That's a result of the tremendous support we've had from the Bowling Green community, the University and our students led by the Falcon Fanatics. Thursday night is a key match against an East Division rival and we want to pack the building."
Once fans arrive at Thursday night's contest, hot dogs, popcorn and soda will be available for just $1.
Over the past two seasons, BGSU Volleyball has been one of the top teams in the MAC, posting a 23-9 mark against conference opponents during that time. The team won the 2012 MAC Tournament title after going 13-3 in the regular season. Northwest Ohio and the Bowling Green community has found BGSU Volleyball to be an exceptional value and one of the most exciting sports to watch as proven by the program ranking second in the conference in attendance this year.
