Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University women's golf team will wrap up its 2015 fall season this week on Oct. 11-12 at the 2015 Fall Preview hosted by Eastern Michigan University at the Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville, Ind.

The 54-hole tournament at the par 72, 6,275 yards Purgatory Golf Club will serve as a preview for the 2016 MAC Women's Golf Championships in April. Play will consist of 36 holes over two rounds of play on Sunday, Oct. 11, with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start, and a final 18 holes over the third round of play on Monday, Oct. 12, beginning with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start.

This year's tournament, which took a hiatus last year in the fall of 2014, will include a 13-team field in Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Cleveland State, Eastern Michigan, Illinois-Chicago, Indiana State, Northern Illinois, Ohio, Toledo, Western Michigan and Youngstown State.

"The Purgatory Golf Club will be another first year course for the MAC Championship this year. We are grateful to have EMU hosting the event and providing an opportunity for all of us to "Preview" the layout," commented head coach Stephanie Young. "Our team has had a solid fall so far and we will definitely be looking to take that momentum into this final event of the fall season."

BGSU is coming off a fourth-place finish at the 2015 Rocket Classic on Oct. 5-6 and has posted three top-four team finishes over four events thus far this fall season, including posting a team championship win at the 2015 Redbird Invitational in the season opening event on Sept. 6-7.

Coach Young and the Falcons will send out the lineup of Erin Fahey, Mikayla Baer, Fran Rodriguez, Hannah Lewis and Lily Bartell over the final fall event, while sophomore Miranda Dubler will once again compete as an individual.

Fahey is coming off a 54-hole score of 223, +17, at the 2015 Rocket Classic last week to finish as the top Falcon and in a tie for 13th-place overall. The freshman has posted 54-hole tournament scores of 234, 241, 230 and 223 overall over her first fall season at BGSU and will look to continue her strong play in the fall finale this week at the 2015 Fall Preview.

Baer, who has carded a BGSU low round 71 thus far this fall season, leads the Falcons with a team-low stroke average of 77.42 over her 12 rounds of play in 2015. The junior has recorded three top-25 place finishes this fall season, including posting a ninth-place showing at the 2015 Redbird Invitational in September.

Playing in her fifth event this fall season, Rodriguez is coming off back-to-back 24th-place finishes over her last two events at the Cardinal Classic and Rocket Classic. The Texas native has carded a low round 73 twice so far this season and his second on the team with a stroke average of 77.67 over 12 rounds of play on the year.

Like the other three members in the Falcon lineup, both Lewis and Bartell will be teeing-off in their fifth tournament this fall season at the 2015 Fall Preview. Lewis, who has two top-20 finishes with a 15th-place showing at the 2015 Cardinal Classic and a 16th-place at the 2015 Redbird Invitational has turned in a stroke average of 77.83 thus far this falls season. Bartell, who has recorded a stroke average of 78.33 over her 12 rounds of play this fall season, carded a season-low round of 72 in the season opener event at the 2015 Redbird Invitational.

Dubler will be competing in her second straight event having finished in 34th-place overall with a 54-hole score of 241, +25, at the Rocket Classic. The sophomore carded rounds of 80, 77 and 84 over the three round event.

The last time The Preview was held was on Oct. 7-8, 2013, at the Hawthorns Golf & Country Club in Fishers, Ind. Hosted by Ball State, the University of Toledo captured the tournament title with a score of 611 to finish seven strokes ahead of Ball State.
