Ense Signs Six To Join Falcon Swimming & Diving Program
December 02, 2015 | Women's Swimming & Diving
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green State University head swimming and diving coach Matt Ense announced the addition of six student-athletes to his program for the 2016-17 season on Wednesday morning. Five swimmers and one diver will join the Falcons next fall as part of Ense's first signing class at BGSU.
"The five swimmers and one diver we added for the fall early signing period bring a great amount of talent and personality to the program," Ense started. "This class is a huge testament to what our team is doing outside of the pool when prospective student-athletes are on campus. Coach Jaclyn Rosen and I got a late start to recruiting, and to sign five swimmers that came to campus this fall shows the hard work put in by the swimmers and divers, athletic and academic support staff along with volunteer assistant Carmen Young putting in a lot of time during recruiting weekends on campus. It was a true team effort this fall bringing this class together, as Diving Coach Alex Gauvin was able to add great depth to the diving program. We are excited to continue strengthening the program, and are thrilled with the additions of Danica, Hannah, Jessica, Rachel, Anna and Talisa."
