Seventeen Falcons Named Academic All-MAC

Cleveland, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced its 2015 Women's Outdoor Track and Field Academic All-MAC teams today and 17 Bowling Green State University student-athletes were recognized for a combination of classroom and athletic success.
In total, 162 women earned Academic All-MAC status and Bowling Green's 17 honorees were the second-most in the conference. Among those 17 were three-time All-American Brooke Pleger and NCAA East Region preliminary qualifiers Brittany Sinclair and Makenzie Wheat. All four Bowling Green seniors (Pleger, Sinclair, Natalie Sommerville and Krystin Reiser) were named to the team as well.
In order to qualify for the Academic All-MAC team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
