BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University baseball team will compete in a scrimmage at Steller Field on Friday, Oct. 2 at 3 p.m. The scrimmage will be against the Great Lakes Canadians – a travel-ball team that freshman Mat Szabo played for in the past. The scrimmage is open to the public.
The international competition comes about three weeks into the team's fall schedule. The first practice of the fall took place on Sept. 14. The program's photo day is currently scheduled for Oct. 9.
The team will then shift its attention to the annual Orange and Brown World Series. Game one of the series is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 15. Fans can view the baseball team's current roster by clicking the above link.
