FACULTY AND SENIOR DAY RECOGNITIONS
Thursday's game will be Faculty and Staff day at Cochrane Stadium, while Sunday afternoon's match will be Senior Day. Be to Cochrane early to congratulate the five seniors on their 2016 campaign!
PREVIEW OF WESTERN MICHIGAN
The Broncos have had a solid 2016 campaign and in its last two matches, Western Michigan tied Akron at 0 apiece and defeated Buffalo 2-1. In the match with the Bulls, the Broncos had goals from assist leader Alyssa Burke and the winning goal was scored off an own-goal. The Broncos lead the MAC conference shots and assists; while also ranking second in goals scored and shutouts. The Broncos are led by senior Mackenzie Barber with four goals and fellow senior Liz Abro who has three goals and three assists. In goal for the Broncos is redshirt junior Stephanie Heber who has posted the third best save percentage in the MAC at .840. The Broncos average 16.3 shots a game with 41 percent of those landing on goal.
FALCONS VERSUS THE BRONCOS ON THE PITCH
BGSU is 7-15-1 all-time against Western Michigan University on the pitch. Last season, the Falcons were defeated 2-1 at Cochrane Stadium.
PREVIEW OF NORTHERN ILLINOIS
The Huskies have had a couple of tight matchups the past two games, in which they tied Buffalo and Akron both with the score of 0-0. The Huskies last won on October 2 against Ohio by a narrow score of 2-1. In the game, the Huskies leading goal scorer sophomore Taylor Sarver scored both of the goals. Sarver has six goals and one assist on the season thus far. Junior Amy Annala has been tending the net for the Huskies, where she has posted an .820 save percentage with just a .940 goals against average. The Huskies have been attempting an average of 6.4 shots per game, with which .540 percent are on goal.

All-time, the Falcons hold a 7-10-3 record against the Huskies, most recently falling 2-0 at home last season.
LAST WEEK'S WRAP UP
Last week, the Bowling Green women's soccer program had a tough loss against Central Michigan in overtime by a 2-1 mark, in which the Falcons held the lead until the 88th minute before the Chippewas scored to tie the game and force overtime. In the overtime, Central Michigan scored in the 100th minute to win the game. In its most recent match, the Falcons took Miami to overtime in which they recorded four shots on goal but couldn't find the back of the net. Freshman Kathleen Duwve was in goal for the Falcons and was able to finish the game with a shutout after recording six saves.
ON TAP FOR THE FALCONS
The Falcons will wrap up the 2016 regular season with The Battle of I-75 against Toledo on Thursday, October 27 at 3 p.m.
