Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University Ticket Office has announced that season tickets for the 2016 BGSU Volleyball season will go on sale this Thursday, June 30. The Orange and Brown will play a total of 15 home matches in 2016, the most that a Falcons' squad has played at home since the 2005 season. Season ticket holders will have the opportunity to support the Falcons every step of the way and to contribute to the culture that makes Bowling Green unique.

"We hope that our Falcon fans will continue to support our program by purchasing season tickets and help us build a loyal fan base that makes a BGSU experience so special for our student-athletes. Not only will our season ticket holders get to see 15 home matches this fall, but they will also get inside access to our program and an education about the game of volleyball through our very popular Chalk Talk sessions throughout the season," stated Coach Tomic."

Along with two multi-team tournaments in the Hampton Inn Invitational (Aug. 26-27) and the BGSU Invitational (Sept. 2-3) to open up the 2016 season, the Falcons will also host two non-conference midweek contests versus Marshall (Sept. 7) and Valparaiso (Sept. 13).

When MAC play kicks in towards late September, the Falcons will host eight conference contests, including MAC East foes Miami (Sept. 22), Ohio (Sept. 30), Kent State (Oct. 1), Buffalo (Nov. 11) and Akron (Nov. 12).

BGSU will also welcome MAC West opponents Ball State (Oct. 21), Toledo (Oct. 22) and Western Michigan (Oct. 29) to the Stroh Center in 2016.

"We had one of the best spring seasons in my four years at BGSU this past spring, which we completed with successfully competing and winning against some tough competition on our European Tour to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Italy in May," continued Tomic. "The team is ready to compete again for the MAC Championship and we hope that our Falcon fans will be with us on that journey and support us throughout the year!"

General admission tickets are just $48 and courtside reserved tickets are $75. New this season for BGSU Volleyball is the Falcon Four Pack which includes four general admission season tickets for the low price of $150.

For 2015 season ticket holders, renewals are underway with an Aug. 12 deadline to retain the same seat as last year. Special renewal giveaway prizes will begin July 15. The earlier fans renew their season tickets, the more drawings they will be entered in.
