Slimko Named to 2017 MAC All-Tournament Team

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Bowling Green volleyball program's senior Nicole Slimko was named to the 2017 Mid-American Conference All-Tournament Team after a team-leading 16 kill performance in the MAC Tournament Semifinals against Western Michigan.
A native of Crystal Lake, Ill., Slimko had a hand in three of the Falcons 6.0 total blocks on the night, while with her 16 kills, it was the senior's fifth consecutive match with 10+ kills. In the 2017 campaign, Slimko posts a team-high of 278 kills for 2.78 kills per set, and now boasts 1,025 kills in her career.
The Bowling Green volleyball program completed the season with a 2017 MAC Regular Season Championship title and will have the opportunity to continue postseason play at the National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC) tournament.
