Quoting The Coach
"We're right where we're supposed to be at this point in the season," head coach Lou Snelling said. "We're definitely on the right track of where we want to head before we reach the championship races."
"It was an exciting race," assistant coach Juan Carillo said on his debut for the Falcons. "It's only my second week and to see the athletes come out so strong was great. Noah [Schaub] improved his time from this meet last season by at least 20 seconds too so that was fun to see."
"It was a great day for a race. There was a little bit of wind, but it was a comfortable temperature," Walny said of her record breaking performance day. "There was a lot of really great competition in the field so I kept my eyes on the two girls in front of me the whole time, hoping to catch them eventually."
