"We have some big-time non-conference games against Purdue and Michigan, and some other exciting non-conference series. We are also excited to play 23 games at Steller Field, highlighted by opening up MAC play with a series against Toledo."
The Falcons will play three-consecutive road weekend series to open up the 2019 slate. Bowling Green will open up the season at Middle Tennessee State (Feb. 15-17) in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, before taking on Richmond (Feb. 22-24) in Richmond, Virginia and Belmont in Nashville, Tennessee (March 1-3). All three series will be three-game sets.
The Orange and Brown will then play at Dayton on March 6, prior to staying in Ohio for a three-game series at Cincinnati (March 8-10). Bowling Green's home opener will take place on March 12 versus Oakland. That coming weekend, the Falcons will play a home doubleheader on consecutive days versus Siena College (March 16-17).
Bowling Green's final non-conference game will be against the Big Ten runners-up in Purdue. The road game in West Lafayette, Indiana will be on March 20. The Battle of I-75 will be on tap next, as the Falcons welcome the Rockets to Steller Field across March 22-24.
Within the conference, home series will take place versus Toledo (March 22-24), Miami (April 12-14), Western Michigan (April 19-21), Central Michigan (May 3-5) and Kent State (May 10-12). Bowling Green's four road series will be against Ohio (March 29-31), Eastern Michigan (April 5-7), Ball State (April 26-28) and Northern Illinois (May 16-18).
After conference play begins, the Falcons will play home mid-week games against Youngstown State (March 26), Dayton (April 3) and Purdue Fort Wayne (May 7). Road mid-week games will be played against Purdue Fort Wayne (April 10), Michigan (April 17) and Wright State (April 23).
