A Look At The Competition
The event will feature a total of 39 universities across all events. This will be an opportunity for the Falcons' to showcase their talent against the top competition of the Great Lakes Region. The Bradley Pink Classic will feature ranked opponents such as Indiana (Men's, 4th / Women's, 3rd), Butler (Men's 7th / Women's 10th), Toledo (Women's 11th), Cincinnati (Women's 14th), and IUPUI (Women's 15th).

The men's team will enter the event ranked 13th in the USTFCCCA Regional Coaches' Rankings. The Falcons first became ranked when the week 1 rankings were released on Sept. 10th and have maintained momentum since, holding their spot in the Top 15.
At The Bradley Pink Classic
BGSU last participated in Peoria in 2012, with the women's team finishing sixth of the 23 teams and the men's team finished in 15th. The event in 2012 served as the team's final tune-up prior to the MAC Championships in early-October, as it does this year.
Final Adjustments
This will be the final chance for the Falcons' to make in-race adjustments prior to the MAC Championships, which will be held in Toledo, Ohio on October 27th. BGSU is slated to face three MAC opponents at the Bradley Pink Classic, giving them a glimpse at what is to come. Kent State, Northern Illinois, and Toledo are currently registered to participate.
Record Opportunity
The Falcons will have two athletes who will look to not only record new personal bests, but break their own school records. Noah Schaub and Rachel Walny both currently hold the school record for their respective events for this weekend. With Schaub participating in the 8k and Walny in the 6k, all eyes will be on their times to see if they can once again shatter their own records. Walny's record currently stands at 20:25.0 and Schaub's is set at 24:06.4.
