Schaub Named MAC Runner Of The Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Senior Noah Schaub of Bowling Green State University men's cross country team was named MAC Runner of the Week announced Tuesday (Sept. 11). Schaub finished 1st overall at the Mel Brodt Collegiate Opener in Bowling Green, Ohio on Saturday, Sept. 7. He created more than a five second cushion before crossing the finish line with a new personal best in the 5k with a time of 15:25.0.
The Falcons faced off with Toledo in this year's Mel Brodt. Schaub was the first of seven BGSU runners to place in the top ten.
This was Schaub's second time receiving the honor. The first came last year on Oct. 17 following his tenth place finish at the Pre-Nationals Invitational.
