Falcons Compete In Two Events At Rain-Shortened Virginia Challenge

Charlottesville, Va. – The Bowling Green State University track and field team competed in two events on the opening day of the Virginia Challenge. The second-half of the day's events were moved to Saturday due to inclement weather.
FULL DAY ONE RESULTS
Aliyah Gustafson qualified for the finals in the hammer throw and placed sixth with a distance of 187-feet-6 (57.17m). Allie Farmer was 12th at 174-10 (53.30m).
Earlier in the day, freshman Jazzlynn Gaiters placed ninth in the 400 with a time of 56.77 seconds. Another freshman, Iyanna Ross, was 21st at 58.83 seconds.
BGSU will be back in competition Saturday for a full day of action at the Virginia Challenge, beginning at 10:00 am. The Falcons will also compete at the RedHawk Invitational, hosted by Miami, starting at 9:00 am.
