Each week, the BGSU Strategic Communications Department breaks down the week ahead in athletics and recaps the week gone by. Listed below are all games over the course of the next seven days with links and information for fans. Following that info are recaps, scores and links from games over the past week.

The Falcons, off to a 3-0 start, open Mid-American Conference play when Eastern Michigan comes to the Stroh Center on Friday night. Then, BGSU will hit the road for a Sunday afternoon contest vs. Purdue. BGSU picked up wins over a pair of Horizon League foes in Northern Kentucky and Milwaukee last week. Freshman Kenzie Lewis had nine steals on Thursday, just one shy of the school record, as BG topped NKU, 63-49, and the Falcons went on a game-ending 7-0 run to down Milwaukee, 64-62, Sunday afternoon at the Stroh. Freshman Lexi Fleming had a game-high 22 points, including a pair of free throws with 17.3 seconds left that gave the Falcons the lead for good, while sophomore Elissa Brett (17) and senior Clare Glowniak (12) each posted career-high scoring totals in the win over MKE. Eastern Michigan is 3-1 on the young season, and the Eagles are off to a 1-0 start in MAC play entering Friday's matchup at the Stroh.Â

BG Falcon Hockey will return to the Slater Family Ice Arena on Friday night (Dec. 11) to host Ferris State in the first game of a weekend home-and-home series. For the second leg, the series will shift to Big Rapids, Mich. on Saturday (Dec. 12) with both games set for 7:07 p.m. puck drops. While Ferris State is a WCHA foe, the series will count as non-conference on the schedule, but both games will still be available through FloHockey. The Falcons will enter the series coming off of a weekend split with Mercyhurst, seeing the Falcons rebound on Sunday (Dec. 6) with a 3-1 win after a close 2-1 loss on Saturday (Dec. 5). In the win Tim Theocharidis recorded his first multiple-goal game, scoring two of the three goals for Bowling Green.

BGSU Football closes the 2020 season Saturday for Senior Day against Miami at noon on ESPN3. Fans are invited to support our seniors and the football program by virtually selling out Doyt L. Perry Stadium (INFO HERE). Tight end Quintin Morris became the 24th player in program history to go over 1,500 yards receiving in the Falcons last game at Akron. Running back Andrew Clair is closing in on 2,000 yards rushing as well.Â

The Falcons went 3-0 last week and have won four-straight games overall to improve to 4-1 in 2020-21. Bowling Green, behind 33 points from fifth-year senior Justin Turner, finished off the perfect week with an 86-78 victory over Buffalo inside the Stroh Center on Sunday (Dec. 6). BGSU will remain home to face the Wright State Raiders at 12 p.m. noon on Sunday, Dec. 13. Wright State was picked to win the Horizon League this season and will enter Sunday's game with a 1-1 record. The Raiders are led by preseason player of the year in senior center Loudon Love. BGSU will be looking to protect home court advantage. The Falcons, since the start of the 2018-19 season, have racked up a record of 31-4 inside the Stroh Center.
