Twelve Falcons Recognized As Academic All-MAC

Cleveland, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced its 2020 Women's Swimming and Diving Academic All-MAC team on Monday. The team is made up of 107 student-athletes from the eight women's programs in the conference. Of the 107 student-athletes named to the team, 12 represented Bowling Green State University this season. Below are the 12 Falcons who have been recognized.
Junior Maddy Andrews earned a 3.520 in Marketing. This is the second time the MAC 'B' Finalist has been recognized as Academic All-MAC.
Anna Eriksson, a sophomore Sport Management major, logged a 3.914. The Sweden native was a member of the 200 and 400 medley relay teams that placed third at the MAC Championships.
Sarah Fergus maintained a 3.495 in Exercise Science. The senior has been recognized as Academic All-MAC in each of the three years she has been eligible.
Microbiology major Sarah Hennings is one of 17 student-athletes in the MAC to earn a 4.000. The junior won three bronze medals at the MAC Championships, with two coming in medley relays and one coming in the 100 butterfly, when she set the program record.
Kellie House, a sophomore studying Exercise Science, maintained a 3.473. The native of Brighton, Michigan, was a two-time 'B' Finalist at the 2020 MAC Championships.
Junior Shaunna Jones held a 3.515 in Pre-Exercise Science. The two-time selection was one of eight Falcons swimmers to earn a spot at the CSCAA National Invitational Championships.
Senior Theatre major Talisa Lemke is the second Falcon to register a 4.000. The native of Germany concluded her career with her fourth appearance at the NCAA Diving Zones, two MAC titles, and recognition as MAC Diver of the Year, and MAC Most Outstanding Senior.
Business major Kylie Mosset logged 3.853 in Business. The sophomore was a two-time 'B' Finalist at the MAC Championships and qualified for the NCAA Diving Zones for the second time in her career.
Kasie Perretta, a junior studying Neuroscience, earned a 3.831. The two-time selection collected 12 top eight finishes over the course of the season.
Exercise Science major Daisy Platts holds a 3.847. The sophomore won two MAC titles, broke three school records, and earned five medals and First Team All-MAC honors at the 2020 MAC Championships.
Senior Michaela Ruddock registered a 3.831 in Health Science. This is the second time she has been recognized as Academic All-MAC, after placing in the top eight 13 times this season.
Junior Lauren Sullivan is the final Falcon to earn a 4.000, majoring in Communications Sciences and Disorders. The two-time selection was a two-time 'B' Finals qualifier at the 2020 MAC Championships.
Of the 12 Falcons to earn the honor, two were recognized for the third time. Seniors Sarah Fergus and Talisa Lemke have been recognized in each of their three years of eligibility. Maddy Andrews, Sarah Hennings, Shaunna Jones, Kasie Perretta, Michaela Ruddock, and Lauren Sullivan were all recognized for the second time in their careers. For the first time in their careers, Anna Eriksson, Kellie House, Kylie Mosset, and Daisy Platts were recognized. The Falcons completed the 2019-20 campaign with an overall record of 3-3 and a fifth place finish at the MAC Championships.
