Watson Earns AVCA Coaches 4 Coaches Scholarship

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced the 18 recipients of the 2021 Coaches 4 Coaches Scholarship. Bowling Green volleyball Director of Operations Kristin Watson has been selected as one of the recipients. Watson will attend the AVCA Convention in Columbus, Ohio, on Dec. 15–18. She will have the opportunity to network with successful coaches from all levels and take part in a diverse group of educational opportunities at the annual event.
Watson is in her first year as the Director of Operations for Bowling Green volleyball. In 2019, she graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. Watson played four seasons of volleyball at UMBC, earning 2016 America East Defensive Player of the Year. She obtained a Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies of Human Behavior from Hood College in 2021.
