Hanna Laube Named CoSIDA First Team Academic All-District

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced the 2021-22 Academic All-District volleyball teams on Thursday, Nov. 18. Bowling Green senior setter Hanna Laube was selected First Team Academic All-District, the first CoSIDA honor of her career.
Laube has collected 969 assists this season, in addition to 153 digs, 39 kills, 37 blocks, and 17 aces. She has earned MAC East Setter of the Week honors six times and logged four double-doubles this year. In October, Laube surpassed the 2,000-career assist mark.
Laube is a native of Burlington, Ontario. She is majoring in History and maintains a perfect 4.0 GPA. Laube was honored in District 5, a region that includes Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan. Ten student-athletes were named First Team All-District, with Laube being one of two representatives from the Mid-American Conference. With her First Team recognition, Laube is eligible for the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot, with honorees being announced next month.

The 2021 Academic All‐District® Women's Volleyball Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student‐athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All‐America® program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. First‐team Academic All‐District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All‐America® ballot. First‐, second‐ and third‐team Academic All‐America® honorees will be announced in mid‐December.
