Bowling Green Drops Home Opener to Central Michigan

BOWLING GREEN – The Bowling Green (0-5, 0-1 MAC) fell on Friday night in a MAC meet against Central Michigan (1-2, 1-1 MAC), which was contested at famed Anderson Arena, by a score of 193.950 to 190.225.
Taylor Jensen won the All-Around with a 38.475 mark. She was second on the floor (9.800), which was tops for BGSU.

• Kathryn Weilbacher was BGSU's top competitor on vault at 9.825, which was second in the meet.
• Taylor Jensen was tops for BGSU on the bars at 9.650.
• Dahlia Solorzano-Caruso was No. 3 overall, tops for BGSU, on the beam at 9.775.

"It was a little bit of a tough one for us. I feel like we are making some strides at practice, and it didn't really show up today everywhere. Some of our student-athletes had strong performances. I appreciate how the team never gave up. They pushed through and had a good floor rotation. We are looking to regroup for Sunday's meet." BGSU head coach Kerrie Turner
