Falcons Place Third and Pantig-Nystrom Wins Co-Medalist Honors at the Chippewa Invitational

BIRMINGHAM, Mich. – The Bowling Green State University women's golf team concluded its fall schedule with a third-place finish at Central Michigan's Chippewa Invitational. Emily Pantig-Nystrom tied for first among all golfers at +9, winning her first collegiate tournament. The event was held at the par-72, 5,897-yard course at the Birmingham Country Club.
Reigning MAC Co-Golfer of the Week, Kayla Davis, finished tied for third at +13 to give BGSU two top-10 finishers. MacKenzie Moore finished tied for No. 14 at +17, while Aly Kovach was tied for No. 41 at +27. Olivia Steen rounded out the BGSU lineup tied for No. 58 at +34.
BGSU also had four Falcons play as individuals. Mallory Swartz placed tied for No. 36 at +25, Savannah Wyrick finished tied for No. 44 at +28, while Amanda Maletich concluded the tournament No. 51 at +30. Averi Mickelson rounds out the BGSU individuals tied for No. 52 at +31.
