BGSU Women’s Golf Hosts Falcon Florida Classic in Florida to Commence Spring Schedule

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green women's golf team opens the spring portion of its schedule on Monday and Tuesday as it hosts the Falcon Florida Classic at the Royal Lakes Golf Course. The par-72, 6,069-yard course is in Lakewood Ranch, Fla.
The first 36 holes will be played on Monday with the final 18 taking place on Tuesday. Monday will be a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Round three tee times will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday off hole No. 1 and hole No. 10.
Falcon Florida Classic
• The host Falcons will be one of 12 teams competing at the Falcon Florida Classic. In addition to Bowling Green (186), MAC teams taking place are Akron (178), Ball State (217), Central Michigan (150), Eastern Michigan (211), NIU (127), Ohio (214), Toledo (161) and Western Michigan (180). The rest of the field includes Idaho (148), Illinois State (164) and Western Illinois (218).

BGSU Players Competing This Week
• Kayla Davis, Emily Nystrom, Olivia Steen, Savannah Wyrick and Aly Kovach make up the BGSU lineup.
• Amanda Maletich and Averi Mickelson are competing as individuals.
