BGSU Announces 2023 Gymnastics Schedule
November 02, 2022 | Gymnastics
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The 2023 Bowling Green State University gymnastics schedule has officially been released, as announced by head coach Kerrie Turner.
The schedule boasts four home meets, highlighted by the Kent State meet at the Stroh Center.
"The 2023 season is packed full of great competition," said Turner. "This will be an outstanding opportunity for our program to shine, not only in the MAC, but at a national level. Starting the season at NIU is already a huge motivator for our student-athletes to make a statement within the conference. We remain focused on using each competition opportunity to build towards the MAC Championship."
The home meets are against Western Michigan (Jan. 20), Kent State (Feb. 11), Ball State (March 3) and Long Island (March 5). While the Kent State meet will be at the Stroh Center, the other three will be at Anderson Arena.
BGSU opens the season on Jan. 8 at NIU for a MAC contest. The other road meets will be at Arizona (Jan. 14), which will include Texas Women's University and Illinois. BGSU heads to Central Michigan (Jan. 27), Illinois State (Feb. 3) and West Virginia (Feb. 19). The Falcons travel to George Washington (Feb. 24) for a quad-meet with Western Michigan and Fisk. BGSU concludes the regular season at Eastern Michigan (March 12).
The MAC Championship this season is at Kent State on March 18.
