BGVB Lands Nine On Academic All-MAC Team

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced Thursday morning (Dec. 15) the 2022 Volleyball Academic All-MAC Team. A total of 89 student-athletes were named across the conference with Bowling Green totaling nine. Akron led the way in the MAC with 10, followed closely by Bowling Green, Ball State and Ohio, all with nine. The Falcons have had at least nine student-athletes recognized in four consecutive seasons and at least seven in each of the last seven seasons.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
