Senior Kellie House is fresh off a Second Team All-MAC selection after competition at MAC Championships two weeks ago. House finished second in the conference in the 1650 Freestyle with a time of 16:44.11, which was fast enough for the second fastest time in program history. Earlier in the week House finished 4th in the MAC with a time of 4:52.09 which again was the second fastest time in the event in school history.
Breaststroke swimmer Taylor Harris is two weeks removed from a very eventful MAC Championships. Harris tied with another swimmer in the prelims in the 100 Breaststroke leading to a swim off for the final spot in the championship final. After narrowly winning the spot in the final Harris went on to finish 7th in the conference later in the night. The most impressive part of the series of events was that Harris went on to swim a faster time each time she swam the 100 Breaststroke and thanks to that effort now holds the 4th (1.02.22), 6th (1.02.72), and 7th (1:03.02) fastest times in the event in program history. Harris was also a part of the 200 and 400 Medley Relay teams that each set a program record in school history.
Falcon Freshman Fabiana D'Ambrogio also had a strong showing during the MAC Championships. D'Ambrogio finished 8th in the conference in the 100 Butterfly in her first MAC Championship appearance with a time of 2:02.68. That time put Fabiana as the 8th fastest time in school history and earlier in the day during prelims D'Ambrogio earned the school's 4th fastest time in the event (2:01.39).
