Falcons Travel To Michigan For Saturday Spring Tournament

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Bowling Green Volleyball program will head north for their third tournament of the spring season. The Falcons will compete at the Grand Rapids Sports Hall of Fame Volleyball Showcase (GRSHOF), hosted by Grand Rapids Community College. The tournament features four teams: Bowling Green, Michigan, Oakland, and Western Michigan. Doors open at 10 a.m., admission is $5 and can be paid at the door. Proceeds will benefit the charity Great Sports, Great Kids. Tickets are valid for the entire day of competition.
BGSU starts the action at 11:30 a.m. on Court 2, facing Oakland in a best-of-three-sets match. The Falcons remain on Court 2 for their 12:45 p.m. contest, a showdown with conference foe Western Michigan. This will also be a best-of-three-sets match. The teams will have a lunch break after the second round of competition, which will also feature the autograph sessions. Bowling Green will join Michigan for an autograph session at 3:40 p.m., then compete against the Wolverines in the final match of the day. BGSU and UM will meet on the Center Court at 5:30 p.m., with the format being best-of-five-sets.

5:15 p.m. – Autograph session 2: Western Michigan and Oakland
5:30 p.m. – Match 2: Michigan vs. Bowling Green (3 out of 5 on Center Court)
