BGVB Lands Nine On Academic All-MAC Team For Second Straight Season

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced Wednesday morning (Dec. 20) the 2023 Volleyball Academic All-MAC Team. A total of 82 student-athletes were named across the conference with Bowling Green totaling nine. Western Michigan led the way in the MAC with 11, followed closely by Bowling Green and Ball State, both with nine. The Falcons have had at least nine student-athletes recognized in five consecutive seasons and at least seven in each of the last eight seasons.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
