Falcons Open Season With A Successful Day At Tom Wright

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio— The Bowling Green Falcons opened the 2023-24 indoor season Saturday (Dec. 9) at the Tom Wright Open in Perry Field House. Senior, Tianna Mulligan ran a 1:35.47 in the 600m which placed her second all-time in school history. Sophomore, Bianca Staples made her way onto the record book in the high jump. Staples jumped 5' 8.5 which now makes her fifth all-time as well as setting a personal record.
Five Falcons placed first on Saturday in Bowling Green. Alexsia Davis, Mateya Haintz, and Reagan Campbell placed first in their respected events, and also joined Staples and Mulligan. Alexsia Davis ran a 1:01.05 in the 400, Reagan Campbell ran a 25.49 in the 200, and Mateya Haintz threw 55'5' in the weight throw. Staples also placed first in the triple jump (37' 6 ¾)
